Having met many Indonesians over a period of 17 years and becoming acquainted with the uniqueness and quality of their products, the decision was made in 1999 to import selected products to the United States in order to introduce and promote the Indonesian artistry. In 2004, an opportunity to import wonderful and unique products from Northern Thailand was presented to us. We have found that our home decor and gift items we now import from Northern Thailand provide a wonderful balance to the Indonesian products, giving our customers a much wider selection and more opportunity to fulfill their individual requirements.

Primarily a wholesaler, Spirit Prima Imports Incorporated (SPI, Inc.) has been able to reach retailers throughout the United States by exhibiting at gift and home accessories markets.

With a warehouse/office and showroom in Houston, Texas, our goal is to keep overhead at a minimum in order to pass savings on to our customers. We welcome any customers who prefer to pick up their purchases directly from our warehouse.

Why do we not publish our prices and allow immediate purchasing from this website?

Besides our preference not to publish our low prices, allowing you, as a customer, to purchase immediately 'on line' would require us to pre-establish a shipping/freight cost to be added to the cost of your products when your purchase is charged to your credit card. When purchases are made 'on line', a customer's credit card number, for security reasons, is not made known to the supplier; therefore, we would not have access to your credit card number in order to charge you for actual freight cost at a later date when your purchase is actually shipped.

Our policy is to charge our customers for actual shipping costs (no profit/no loss). Due to our wide variety of products (sizes and weights), it is to the customer's benefit to wait until the order is finalized, via follow-up correspondence with us, before establishing the freight/shipping cost. Through this follow-up correspondence, customer satisfaction is increased, both by eliminating errors with items ordered/shipped and by keeping freight costs at a minimum.

Another benefit to you is that any Back Order items will never be charged to your account until the items are actually shipped! So, ordering from SPI, Inc. might take a bit longer, but you will realize the most cost-effective purchase with more personalized service through follow-up correspondence with us.
